      Aloys Schaefer, "Dingelstaedts Anteil an der Auswanderung nach Nordamerka", Zeitung Dingelstaedt 5. Maerz 1929 Nr. 54, Jg. 23, Druckerei Joseph Heinevetter: "Hieronimus Ifland, der Sohn des Sattlermeisters Heinrich Ifland an der Wilhelmstrasse, folgte 1881 seinen beiden Onkels Joseph (*2. Febr. 1835) und Eduard (*6. Nov. 1837) nach Amerika. Drueben begann er seine Laufbahn als Hoteldiener und hat es heute zum Besitzer eines grossen Hotels gebracht in Cincinnati. 1884 liess er seine Schwester Julchen nachkommen. Gleichzeitig mit Julchen fuhr Elisabeth Hucke nach Amerika. Die Erstere kehrte sehr vermoegend nach Deutschland zurueck, ist aber mittlerweile verstorben. 1893 reiste auch die Mutter Rosalie, geb. Weiss mit ihrem am 1. Mai 1875 geb. Sohne Andreas, der das Schmiedehandwerk erlernt hatte, nach drueben."
