    John William "Jack" Heiman
    LINCOLN — John William "Jack" Heiman, 78, Lincoln, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at his home.
    Mr. Heiman was born Nov. 29, 1919, at rural Jewell. He was an auto mechanic and owned his own business in Beloit. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6242 and a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Beloit, and the American Legion. He was a Army veteran of World War II.
    Survivors include his wife, Lou Rita of the home; three sons, Tony and Ted, both of Salina, and John Heidrick of Glasco; three daughters, Bonnie Cheney of Hunter, Beverly Gray of Osborne and Brenda Heiman of Billings, Mont.; a brother, Eugene of Barnard; three sisters, Leona Haggstrom of Colorado Springs, Colo., Frances McCready of Dayton, Ohio, and Marie Keller of Hunter; 17 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
    The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Beloit, the Revs. Henry Baxa and Ralph Aschenbrenner officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Beloit, with military honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
    A parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday followed by a Catholic Daughters rosary at Harrison Funeral Home, 302 N. Hersey, Beloit 67420.
    Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
